Ribbon Cutting of GSU Research Science Center

October 10, 2016

The Atlanta members of BSA LifeStructures were able to attend the Georgia State University (GSU) ribbon cutting ceremony of the new Research Science Center on Friday, October 7.

The new center will provide those at GSU with new offices, research labs, a vivarium, vivarium support space, conference and collaboration areas as well as secured connectivity to the GSU Petit Science Center.

BSA LifeStructures worked on architecture, lab planning, and interior design for this new facility.

This type of project is atypical for a large higher education campus. Instead of being a freestanding single-purpose facility, it is multifaceted, partially comprising a three-story interior buildout and partially composed of a connecting walkway between two buildings that are the heart of the GSU research precinct.
