Raleigh: Rebuilding Together of the Triangle

July 21, 2017

The Raleigh team spent their day volunteering for the local organization, Rebuilding Together of the Triangle. Tim Spence, BSA LifeStructures’ Regional Director of Raleigh, is a former Board Chairman for the organization.

This charity is a national organization with local chapters that provide critical repairs to the homes of low-income families in the  Wake, Durham, Orange, and Chatham counties. The organization’s goal is to ensure a safe and healthy home for every person. Each year they provide vital services ranging from making homes handicap accessible to fixing leaky roofs for the elderly, veterans, disabled, and families with children.

The team was thrilled to volunteer their time and spent most of the day helping to finish exterior maintenance for a local project that will house a resident in the south eastern part of the city. The team focused on exterior house painting, window repair and other smaller projects.
