A vibrant break space within the Wetzer Production Center invites creativity and collaboration beyond the lab. The bold red accent wall energizes the room, while the clean-lined furniture and white acoustic ceiling panels maintain a modern, minimal feel. A tiled backsplash and integrated microwaves provide practical convenience, and the warm wood tones of the cabinetry and stools bring a sense of comfort. Pops of green on chair seats echo the center’s connection to innovation and sustainability. Whether it’s a quick coffee break or an informal brainstorming session, this space supports the people who bring ideas to life.
Designed with flexibility in mind, these glass-enclosed breakout rooms balance privacy and visibility—supporting both focused work and spontaneous collaboration. The use of frosted panels, warm red accent walls, and ergonomic furniture reflects BSA’s commitment to adaptive, people-centered workplace design.

BSA worked closely with Endress+Hauser, architectural team, and the general contractor to develop key interior feature areas for an office environment adjacent to the manufacturing space, the Wetzer Production Center. The goal was to create a modern, comfortable, and flexible workplace that encourages collaboration while allowing for future growth.

Early design meetings revealed the client’s strong pride in the components manufactured at the facility. To celebrate this, the design incorporated a display and feature wall that showcases these items to visitors touring the space. The design reflects Endress+Hauser’s identity as an environmentally conscious company and meets LEED certification standards. Large windows and skylights throughout both the office and manufacturing areas maximize natural daylight, while energy-efficient systems reduce overall consumption and operating costs.

One of the most memorable features of this project is the story behind the custom-made coffee tables. A tree on the site, gifted to Klaus Endress when the Wetzer Production Center originally opened, was salvaged and transformed into tables as a surprise feature revealed during the facility’s inauguration. In addition to new furniture, the design team repurposed portions of the existing workstations. In either case, project’s commitment to sustainability and thoughtful design is on full display.
