  • Orthopedic clinics
  • Eight-OR ambulatory surgery center

Architectural Innovation & Iconic Design

Situated between the busy Interstate 25 and a serene golf course, the clinic’s bold architectural design creates a distinctive landmark for UCHealth’s brand. The soaring arch-shaped roof is a defining architectural element that enhances visibility and recognition from the highway. Additionally, the arch reinforces the facility’s modern, high-performance identity.

A 10,000-square-foot outdoor sports performance training field, positioned between a 300-car net-zero parking garage and the medical center, serves as an immediate introduction to the clinic’s athlete-focused culture. Finally, the double-height lobby, located at the heart of the building, provides open views of the training fields, PT/sports performance gym, and the golf course. Together, these elements create a dynamic and engaging environment for patients and visitors.

Patient-Centered & Sustainable Healthcare Architecture

BSA, recognized as a top architecture and design firm, designed the facility with emphases on functionality, efficiency, and patient experience. In fact, the orthopedic exam rooms were developed through an innovative prototypical design process. This process incorporated feedback from over 60 clinicians and peer-reviewed research to optimize workflow and patient care.

Finally, the surgical floor crowns the facility, featuring a double-height waiting room with panoramic views of the golf course. As a result, this view provides a calm and focused environment for patients and families. Customized artwork throughout the space celebrates movement and performance, also reinforcing the facility’s mission as a center for wellness, rehabilitation, and peak athletic achievement.
