BSA Lifestructures

Production Facility Office Renovation

The goal of this renovation was to provide a modern, collaborative, and flexible environment for employees allowing for future growth. BSA LifeStructures worked closely with the client and contractors to develop key interior feature areas for an office environment alongside the manufacturing area.

The design also incorporates a display and feature wall space showcasing the items that are manufactured within the facility. This LEED certified design takes advantage of daylight through large windows and skylights throughout the office and manufacturing space while using energy efficient fixtures for building services.

A unique feature to this project is the story of the custom-made coffee tables. The coffee tables in this space were designed using the recycled wood of a tree that was located on the facility’s original building site. The tree was a gift to Klaus Endress when the Greenwood location opened.  Since this tree had meaning to Klaus, the tree was salvaged and was included somewhere in the design as a surprise on the inauguration day of the facility. New furniture was brought in, as well as repurposing portions of their existing workstations.
