The Patient Care Tower at Memorial Medical Center adds beds to the existing hospital and redefines the exterior aesthetics of the Midwestern facility. The new space strives to achieve a collaborative environment for physicians, nurses and students who have the opportunity to learn with healthcare professionals.

Patient comfort and satisfaction were critical components to the design of the patient tower. The patient rooms were enlarged to give more space to family members and visitors, while also providing ample room for the caregiver to treat the patient.
