Located on the OSF Healthcare St. Joseph Medical Center campus in Bloomington, Illinois, this freestanding medical office building and ambulatory care center enhances healthcare access for the region. BSA designed the facility to maximize visibility, accessibility, and convenience, with dedicated parking and landscaping that reinforces a park-like setting.
Comprehensive Medical Services Under One Roof
This three-story healthcare facility houses primary care providers, OSF PromptCare, an infusion clinic, occupational health services, and the OSF HealthCare Cardiovascular Institute. The integrated design ensures seamless, team-based patient care, improving efficiency and convenience for both patients and staff.
Strategic and Flexible Medical Building Design
The facility’s exterior design complements the OSF HealthCare System’s architectural identity while integrating natural lighting wherever possible. The Ambulatory Care Center follows a two-phase construction plan, prioritizing urgent medical needs while allowing for future expansion.
Optimized Healthcare Interior Design for Patient and Staff Needs
Key interior design medical elements include:
- 24 exam rooms and two procedure rooms for family practice
- 10 exam rooms and two procedure rooms for prompt care
- Dedicated occupational health, lab, and imaging suites
