Office Renovation

BSA LifeStructure’s new Overland Park, Kansas office balances the requirements of high-performance and inspiration. With a combination of open work space, flexible collaboration areas and private meeting rooms, the 8,000 square foot floor plan offers employees a variety of working options.

The space is enveloped by floor to ceiling windows and accented with indirect and direct lighting to provide numerous illuminating alternatives. A custom swing and soft seating provide additional character. The sophistication of techie conference rooms are offset by the casual café-‘like break area.

Utilizing a clean neutral pallet enabled the designers to enrich the space with multiple textured finishes and hints of corporate colors. Mobile large screen monitors and glass boards are used to create impromptu charrette spaces.

Finally, the office is equipped with an “innovation” area where mockup rooms can be set up using rear projection screens and mobile furniture to help clients envision potential designs. This area doubles as a game room for employees.
