BSA Lifestructures

Kelley School of Business Master Planning

BSA LifeStructures has worked with the Indiana University (IU) Kelley School of Business for nearly 20 years to program, plan and design multiple projects – primarily the development of facilities. These plans have been developed in order to support graduate and undergraduate education, enable faculty initiatives, foster corporate connections and celebrate the history of the school and university.

Planning components feature the following:

The Graduate Business School Expansion which consist of a major new 167,000 square foot building with classrooms, offices and multiple breakout and gathering spaces and a new multistory parking structure for expanded capacity. The components form the east and north faces of a new campus quadrangle. A bridge housing administrative offices spans Fee Lane and connects to the undergraduate building. A key program component is a 60-person horseshoe shaped classroom designed to encourage discussion.

Hodge Hall , an undergraduate addition of 83,520 square feet wrapping the 1960 building. It contains a wide mix of classrooms, meeting spaces, a trading room, offices and a central gathering space that connects to the street corner. The addition forms a street edge along Tenth Street and faces onto the main campus green – the Arboretum. Modeled after the original historic business building, Woodburn Hall, the addition serves as the gateway to the core campus and as the front door to the Kelley School

The  Multi-phase Tower Renovation which features a 10-phase renovation spanning multiple years was completed while keeping the building operational. Programs in the tower include classrooms, administrative and faculty offices.

The Paul H. O’Neill Graduate Center, programmed to support interaction between corporate partners and both graduate and undergraduate students, this space houses reception, presentation, dining and interview rooms while also creating a new public north entry. Related and connected functions include programming, planning and design of an addition to the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA). Physically connected to Kelley School – the addition serves as a companion piece along Tenth Street.
