Patient care is a priority for Washington University School of Medicine, and they wanted to provide top care in the community closer to their patients.
Originally a Blockbuster, the space sat vacant for 10 years. The 6K SF space was holistically renovated and the clinic sits on the north side of a shopping center with 16 treatment stations and 1 isolation room. All new equipment and furnishings stretch the span of the open treatment area. Two training rooms to prepare patients for in-home treatment and one exam room flank the check-in/nursing station and clerical workstations sit to the south. Dark accent flooring offers additional directional flow and a row of windows provide a panoramic view to the outside, with roller shades to add any needed privacy.
