Cox Monett Hospital

To ensure patients in the rural area of Monett, Missouri had quality healthcare, CoxHealth and BSA developed a design to fit the needs for critical medical needs. This new critical access hospital will offer an enhanced emergency department, multiple operating rooms, and a medical office building that will house physician clinics, cardiac rehab, and 40 exam rooms.

BSA is providing operational/space planning, architectural design, interior design, and equipment planning. The design will utilize the natural lighting in the waiting/lobby area with 25 patient beds, seven of which are for labor and delivery. A new surgery unit with two operating rooms and a large procedure room is included in the design of the single-story facility, which will house a new emergency department with an ambulance bay.
