BSA is leading a brand new 3-story comprehensive care center on a 7.263-acre site of a partially developed property. The new outpatient facility will house primary care, specialty care, physical therapy, and imaging (MRI, X-ray, and CT). It will represent the future of digitally advanced medical facilities, enhancing communication between physicians, staff, patients, and their loved ones.

Cinco Ranch Comprehensive Care Center is designed with adaptability at its core to ensure a robust infrastructure to support both present-day and future-evolving digital health technologies. Houston Methodist initiated its Center for Innovation (CFI) in 2018, which is dedicated to exploring technological advancements. The CFI department became the foundation for establishing a Technology Hub (‘Tech Hub’) controlled clinical environment simulation setting dedicated to effectively examining and proving meaningful use cases for new digital innovations. The CFI department drives new digital innovation solution considerations that will further support HW’s vision for leading medicine. The CFI Tech Hub will evaluate how new technologies can revolutionize development projects.

A Design Basis will be established to review and index these technologies for future assessment. Research from the Tech Hub will focus on improving the entire patient care continuum, from pre-visit to post-discharge at the Comprehensive Care Center. Additionally, this document will integrate BSA’s principles, addressing functional flow, standardization, resource efficiency, and creating welcoming spaces that can evolve with emerging clinical technologies. These principles will guide the evaluation of proposed technologies and their impact on the healthcare infrastructure.
