This free standing administrative office and parking structure utilizes the unique site elevations to provide three level of parking and three levels of office space without the use of internal ramps. Thereby creating the most efficient footprint possible.
The completion of the Children’s Mercy Office Building will provide a new home for some of the hospital staff while increasing the occupancy of the hospital. The precast and steel design will enable the shortening of the construction schedule to meet the hospital’s requirements.
The architectural team designed a new pedestrian bridge that will link the second office floor to the hospital; thereby, easing the efforts of the staff when traveling back and forth between facilities.
