Providing a new home for the School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering, Luddy Center will house Indiana University’s artificial intelligence (AI) research efforts focusing on machine learning. The facility will bring together students, faculty, and staff, enhancing interdisciplinary teaching and research collaborations.

Initially, the Center will concentrate on digital health by collaborating with Indiana University’s extensive health and life science schools and programs at their Bloomington and Indianapolis campuses. A wide variety of approaches to artificial systems will be studied, including machines’ capability to imitate intelligent human behavior and the degree of interaction with the world around them.

BSA provided A/E design services and helped stakeholders envision a facility where the school’s team of diverse faculty and student can advance the school’s mission. The design provides flexible spaces and incorporates cutting-edge technology where life-changing computational investigations can occur.
