BSA LifeStructures Awarded Mission Hospital’s Transition Planning

March 23, 2017

Mission Health’s new 12 story Patient Tower, The Mission Hospital for Advanced Medicine, is being constructed to help unify the main Mission Campus in the heart of Asheville, NC. The project scope includes consolidation and replacement of the emergency department, surgical services, critical care and medical-surgical beds from the St. Joseph’s campus across the street and Memorial Mission Hospital.

Mission Health’s goal for this new facility is to provide efficient, integrated services that are easily more accessible to the surrounding community. BSA LifeStructures has been awarded transition planning and operational readiness services to ensure that all staff are prepared on day one of operations for the many functional and operational changes related to the design. The new facility will be roughly 607,000 square feet and is projected to be completed in April 2019.
