Short-term relief and long-term efficiency

Concerned about right-sized patient care programs, the impact of nearby hospitals closing, and inconsistent patient experience, Swedish Covenant Hospital needed a long-term facilities solution.

The resulting master plan created short-term relief and long-term efficiencies while aligning assets for future success. Efficiencies included uniformity, added space and infrastructure improvements in aged existing inpatient units, sustaining a safe and compliant environment. While long-term recommendations focused on construction of a new inpatient pavilion that accommodates future technologies, the first phase calls for a new medical office building, energy center and parking garage that addresses immediate needs for the hospital
