Surgery waiting area improvements support healing environment
This renovation of the surgery waiting area and rotunda support Swedish Covenant Hospital’s position as the only hospital affiliated with the Planetree Alliance in the Chicago area.
Multi-colored, epoxy terrazzo replaces carpet that had faded over time. Groups of chairs and tables with lamps have taken the place of row seating, providing environments that increase privacy and social intimacy. A coordinated palette of upholstery and wood further enhance the environment.
