Student Services and Library Complex - IPFW Campus
Additions unify and bring new life and identity
This addition unites the heavily accessed library, student union and field house while adding space and amenities that reinvent the Fort Wayne campus as a destination. It expands the field house, adds amenities to the student union and adds a connector from the union to the library, providing a place for students to study while enjoying the view.
The architectural vocabulary ties together the three buildings, working with the existing campus while introducing a fresh identity. New public entries and abundant windows emphasize natural light and open up the new facilities. A terrace and outdoor pedestrian plaza between the bookstore and ballroom provide places for students to relax.
