Enhancing care for the critically ill

This design-build project delivers a new two-story acute care facility for the Indianapolis-based St. Vincent Health System. The hospital has 74 patient rooms along with shell space for 10 future rooms as population growth demands.

Inside, a family-centered care approach inspires facility design to seek out every opportunity for the family to be involved in the care process. A restaurant-style cafe and dedicated family spaces allows for patients and their guests to interact in a non-institutionalized environment. Spacious patient rooms allow family members continued access to patients with windows that overlook the healing gardens on the campus.
