Creating a national center for education

This facility is a critical component required to elevate the level of education offered to St. Vincent staff, to the Emergency Medical Services community and the Indianapolis metropolitan community at large. The impact of this project is vast: meeting national standards for safe, quality care, increased primary and continuing education, associate retention, establishing new academic, community and industry partnerships, community health awareness, positive patient outcomes, and increased associate effectiveness.

The third floor of the building houses the Medical Simulation Core. Simulation space is divided into training labs by specialty: emergency, surgery, inpatient, ICU services and skills training space.
