St. Francis Medical Center Master Plan Update
Aligning facilities with strategic planning
A growing campus and an expanded strategic focus to include specialty ambulatory services led OSF St. Francis Medical Center to require an updated master facility plan. Objectives included addressing vehicular and pedestrian circulation, parking location and capacity, backfill planning, movement towards 100% private rooms, education spaces, future property acquisitions, and alignment of all campus initiatives with strategic business plan.
Concepts selected for recommendation were detailed using a full build-out approach to addressing the master planning issues. By focusing on full build-out of the site, selected items of the plan can be grouped into phases and still respect the overall goals of the plan.
