Creating a comfortable hospital
The design of this replacement facility creates a comforting and welcoming hospital that reflects the organization’s commitment to quality care. The design unifies building components while allowing for variety in form, materials, textures and patterns, creating an identity for the hospital.
The facility has 150 all-private, same-handed patient rooms to emphasize a safe environment for patients and staff. Thoughtful site planning creates clear wayfinding for the new hospital and three medical office buildings on campus. The healing environment is extended outdoors with entry gardens, a garden path and courtyard.
