Complex project positions hospital for the future
A result of master planning, this facility accommodates the rising demand for outpatient services, creating a new outpatient identity by consolidating functions. The phased project includes a new entry and lobby, inpatient care renovations and parking. Registration, emergency department and radiology are located in the front, with a women’s center adjacent to radiology.
The ED is larger and flexible, with 14 treatment rooms and two trauma rooms to handle large volumes and keep patients closer to home for emergency medicine. Semi-private rooms were converted to private, with rooms for obese patients on each floor.
