This two-story research and development building, with a basement, connects to an existing research and development building and supports 160 new employees in a state of the art Biotech/Bio Processing lab environment.
The office and common spaces are designed to promote collaboration among employees and use wood veneer, stone, tile and decorative lighting to move awayt away from traditional institutional design. The new addition is separated from the existing building by a landscaped courtyard.
The owner is seeking LEED Silver certification to further strengthen their role as innovator in their market, aid in employee recruitment and retention and make a positive statement on the environment.
