Expanding facilities for expanding minds

The new building was designed for a diverse medical education curriculum and includes experiential learning environmenets such as exam rooms, x-ray rooms, operating rooms, gross anatomy laboratories, nursing areas, tissue culture rooms, procedure rooms and dental teaching areas.

The heavily used facility remains efficient with inclusion of a cost-effective and energy efficient heat wheel system not typically used in education-focused buildings. This innovative heat wheel design was honored as the top project in the ACEC Indiana Engineering Excellence Awards.
