Springfield Clinic Campus Expansion
Efficiency and continuity enhanced through bridge connection to new clinic expansion
This unique expansion project adds a four-story medical office building to the existing Springfield Clinic main campus building with a gateway bridge structure spanning the street below. Housing around 40 physicians in numerous medical specialties, the new facility supports the growth for Illinois’ second largest physician-owned organizations.
Expansion of the main campus included phased renovations to accommodate expansion of the clinic’s existing ambulatory treatment surgery center. The facility design enhances the urban landscape and further strengthens the Springfield Clinic brand in downstate Illinois communities.
