Indiana Center for Life Sciences
Training the life sciences’ workforce
The Indiana Center for Life Sciences represents a partnership among regional government, higher education and business entities to increase the number of technically skilled people in the county’s workforce. Prior to design, BSA LifeStructures completed a feasibility study with all stakeholders to define project goals for the diverse group of facility owners.
The facility provides classrooms, teaching labs, space for hands-on training and a simulated clean room for the degreed programs. The space can be set up to simulate assembly lines and equipment and used by local employers to train new or retrain existing employees.
