Oncology services in a tranquil environment
This center expanding the hospital’s oncology services to accommodate the surrounding market. The design makes innovative use out of a space that was previously occupied by the emergency department and an ambulance bay.
Medical oncology and radiation oncology were right-sized to meet community needs and include chemotherapy, private treatment rooms, exam rooms, consultation and a family waiting area. A linear accelerator brings precise technology to the center. A stone wall flows through the center, organizing the space, connecting departments and ending at an outdoor fountain.
