Kelley School of Business Undergraduate Extension and Renovation
Creating an identity that reflects programs’ academic excellence
To accommodate increasing student enrollment and sustain academic excellence, Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business is adding and renovating space in their undergraduate facility. This project adds 35,000 square feet of space by extending four floors on two sides of the existing facility. An additional 150,000 square feet of the existing building will be renovated, including extensive upgrades of the building’s infrastructure systems.
A distinctive new entry provides an updated identity for the school and opens into a new student commons where students can relax or collaborate. A multi-purpose room adapts to function as a lounge, study space or venue for hosting special events. New and renovated classrooms will be tiered, which enables team-based work reflective of traditional business practices.
The building has been designed to obtain LEED Silver certification.
