Health Professions Center
Supporting high-demand healthcare fields
Responding to community needs and national trends showing healthcare workforce shortages, the Health Professions Center expands and add programs in high demand fields – such as nursing, radiologic technology, physical therapy and dental hygiene. This facility effectively consolidates scattered programs, adds new programs and creates an environment that supports immersive curriculum.
Flexible learning environments allow collaboration between the labs, faculty and students. The design integrates technology into the spaces and enhances the educational and work environments needed for recruitment and retention of faculty and students. Simulation labs include an emergency services apparatus room with space for a fire truck and ambulance.
The Health Professions Center is seeking LEED Silver certification. BSA LifeStructures collaborated with Legat Architects on this project.
