Meeting patient needs through expansion
This major addition expands emergency and intensive care, adds new outpatient service lines, and creates an improved healing environment with acuity adaptable patient beds. The program and resulting design respond to community needs, evidenced by a new emergency department that now receives a patient satisfaction score of 93%.
The architecture respects the campus while introducing progressive elements. The helipad was relocated to the rooftop of the expansion to allow for an adjacent parking garage.
