Center for Information Technology
New center encourages economic development
With plans to enroll up to 40 percent more students in the next decade, the technical education and training programs housed in The Center for Information Technology contribute to economic expansion in the community as qualified graduates work with new businesses attracted to the Wabash Valley.
The building includes faculty offices and conference rooms for the computer information systems, visual communications, business and office administration, accounting and general education programs. In the spirit of community colleges, the center has a 263-seat auditorium that the community can use, classrooms and computer labs equipped with “smart” technology, a writing lab, a distance-learning center and a commons area complete with food services and wireless Internet access.
