The Heart and Vascular Center at Charleston Area Medical Center provides training for healthcare professionals and improved medical services for West Virginians.
The new facility consolidates previously scattered services for one of the nation’s most active cardiovascular programs, improving coordination and communication for acute-care patients. Two floors are dedicated to the interdisciplinary Clinical Teaching Center for the West Virginia University School of Medicine. The inter-professional center educates medical, nursing, dental, and pharmacy students.
