Applied Technology Building Renovation
Meeting today’s program needs and pedagogy
Home to the College of Applied Sciences and Technology and Family Consumer Sciences and Technology, this project challenges the designers to match the building and engineering systems to an ever-evolving program. With a diverse group of building users, the design team established cross-departmental goals that meet the over-arching needs while providing long-term flexibility for program growth.
Goals included larger classroom space, a new entry that reflects campus movement, flex classrooms, and increased program awareness through re-branding the interior of the building.
